while carrying what is hidden as a gift to others.
To remember the other world in this world
is to live in your true inheritance." - David Whyte
I awoke at dawn to frost the cupcakes for our last day celebration. I scribbled the icing on, then topped them with a candy pearl, symbolic of last night's mission (pearl of wisdom).
Preparations were made for our pizza party, with plenty of pink lemonade, and champagne grapes!
Girls, one day when you're grown and you have your first champagne toast to celebrate a new year, remember this moment with a smile.
Today we used writing prompts to add text to our journals.
What shape waits in the seed of you to grow and spread its branches against a future sky? -David Whyte
Our project for today was Moroccan Lanterns. May these lanterns remind you of the astonishing light of our own being.
We launched our wishes with Flying Wish Paper while waiting for the Mighty Moms to arrive.
When the moms arrived, we began our closing ceremonies, then celebrated!
As the girls left, they received their gift of the day, mani-kits for creative mitts.
Alone I placed the flowers on the spot where our tipi once stood and was filled with so much gratitude.
I would like to thank my assistant Chelsea who makes everything flow seamlessly as though it were dance.
Thank you Moms, for sharing your amazing daughters with me.
Thank you, Mighty Girls, for inspiring me with your abundant creativity.
Thank you ALL, for the delightful gifts, earth-made, bee-made, and hand-made! I will savor them. Until we meet again.
Made so & rooted by love,
Wendy
