“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.”
―
John Muir
I know that many a mighty one is missing our workshop and the connection to nature and creativity that it nourishes. We look forward to gathering again once it is safe to do. In the meantime the generous folks at Laurence King Publishing has sent this wonderful book for our camp, as well as these pages to enjoy when you are able to take a walk in the forest with your family.
100 Things to do in a Forest
by Jennifer Davis is a delightful guide of activities to do while
wandering. It's packed with all sorts of fun things like stream
hopping, walking sticks, land art, beads and more. This book will not
only bring back fond memories of Mighty Girl Art, but inspire you to
make new memories with your loved ones.
Here's a bracelet that I made with foraged Hawthorn berries and some land art in the understory...
Mighty Girl Art would like to thank Laurence King Publishing for their generosity and their dedication to the creative arts!
