Day Three: Strength, Courage & Wisdom

It rained last night and the meadow seemed somehow more lush this morning.  While waiting for the stragglers we used body markers to pass the time...


























We began with the morning gift.  Today's gift comes from the generous folks at Ecojot.  Ecojot was founded by the brother/sister team, Mark and Carolyn Gavin who wanted to create eco friendly paper products that feature inspirational designs. 






















Ecojot sent this message to the girls...

A favourite quote of ours is by Gandhi: "In a gentle way you can shake the world."

You don't have to be a great leader or rich to help make the world a better place. You just have to be willing. Every little or big effort counts. Use your talent to give you the success you aspire for and help others at the same time.

We hope the journals give you the courage to create whatever it is your heart is telling you to.

Today we began to add more layers and details to our art journals.























































While the journals dried in the sun, the girls had a quick snack...

















These are chocolate covered berries.  The girls call it "Spirit Food".
























 Then we finished our mala beads.  They turned out so lovely.












 Dear Girls,

Those of you who were unable to finish your beads, please try to do so at home and don't forget to bring them with you tomorrow.  Tomorrow we will make the tassel and then start a new project.  If you can, spend some time alone with your mom tonight.  Perhaps you can take a walk and look for things you can add to your journals.  Listen carefully for any wisdom that might turn up in the conversation.
