A Party in a Wood

With Hurricane Sandy on our heels we had a party to celebrate the new studio at Big Woods...
 


The Mighty Girls arrived in gentle waves
and lounged on the swinging daybed next to the warm fire....

they snacked on sea salted brownies,
juicy clementines
and spiced cider...

 and made transfer print bookmarks.


The rains began just as they were leaving.


I blew out the candles...


and put out the fire...


and prepared for the storm.
