Today was wet and dreary so we sipped our hot cocoa then finished our weaving journey with owl. 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We prepped our canvas for next week then began painting our cups with symbols, poetry and quotes.  The cup has special meaning to the one creating it.  The cup is thought to be a metaphorical symbol for enlightenment a/o nourishing the spirit.  We will reflect on that while sipping our hot cocoa next week.  What are some ways we can nourish our spirit this winter?



































 






















We finished the session with a quick and easy project - wintry bloom hair pins!





 




















Later, some of the girls drew spirit animals on the table paper which they decided to use as gift wrap!
























Our morning complete, we celebrated with S'mores.
